I sincerely hope this helps some of you as I cannot even remember to how many meetings I was late because of this stupid bug. I clicked on yes and then when I went back to the Notifications & Actions screen the checkable options above the apps were there!Īfter that I just closed Chrome completely, restarted the machine and everything started working again. When I did this I got a prompt saying that Cortana (which I had disabled as soon as I started this Windows for the first time) was the current top priority app and if I wanted to still switch it. What I did to fix it was to open Notifications & Actions, click on Google Chrome to go into it's specific settings, and then I chose "Top" in "Priority of notifications". It didn't have the section with the checkable options and was only showing the individual apps configurations. Looking at the post from 9/2/20 I found weird that my notifications screen looked different. Ok, so I finally managed to make this work for Windows 10 20H2.
